About Us

Mission: Our Mission at Letters of Gold Is To Give Hope to People In Times of Need Through Providing an Opportunity For People Around The World to Write Letters of Compassion, Love, and Resilience

Why We Started This Organization:  We wanted to help and give back to community and create a better world. For this reason we started Letters of Gold, a student-run organization that offers a unique and simple way for people around the world to help in times of need, by writing letters of love.

Meet the Founders of letters of Gold

Vedha Vaddaraju is a high school student and who enjoys volunteering, playing piano, and research, and is on the debate team at her school. She hopes to continue uplifting the community and aspires to become a healthcare professional. 

Iris Lai is a high school student who always loves to learn. Outside of school, she was involved in dance and piano.  Iris hopes to go into the medical field and continue serving the community in the future.

Leslie Looi - Director of Technical Writing: Leslie is in high school. In her free time, you can catch her playing cello, watching movies, and listening to music. 
Zoe Lu - Social Media Manager: Zoe is the WOCA communication officer at her high school. Art has always been her passion, and she aspires to use her skills to help others in need around the world. 
Amber Dong - Director of Marketing: Amber is a high school student who enjoys dancing, singing, and giving back to the community through her church. 
Christy Liu- Director of International Engagement: ​Christy enjoys participating in FFA, her school choir, and volunteering through her church.
